The researchers specifically set out to find areas of EU legislation that would have wide support. With the purpose of finding whether that suport changed dramatically when an EU element was introduced. Therefore no conclusion can be supported that the positive support seen for the EU in these results would imply positive support in other areas. It is additionaly conceded that a different set of questions could produce substantially different results.
